# Commerce Engine for B2B and wholesale

Give retailers, stockists and distributors their own prices, buying terms and business accounts, and bring every wholesale order online with Commerce Engine. Catalog, customer-group pricing, business accounts, credit and order operations run on the same commerce backend as your D2C store.

## Wholesale catalog

Bring products, variants and bundles into one wholesale catalog. Help buyers find the exact SKU and pack they need, with stock managed across your locations.

- **Variants for every pack size**: Give each variant its own SKU, image, price and stock, so buyers know exactly which pack they are ordering.
- **Search and filters**: Buyers filter by category and product attributes. Search returns matching SKUs and updated facet counts, so they can narrow the choice before adding to their order.
- **Stock by location**: Manage inventory by warehouse and store. Configure backorders for products you want buyers to order before new stock arrives.
- **Bundles**: Combine products into a kit with one price and one order line, with its component products linked behind it.

Products, variants, search, bundles and location inventory live in one commerce backend.

## Customer-group pricing and order rules

Set prices, minimum quantities and order increments for each customer group. Add volume offers to reward larger orders. The buyer sees how their quantity changes the total.

- **Prices per customer group**: Assign a buyer to a customer group, such as retailers, stockists or distributors. When the storefront sends that group with its requests, the catalog returns the prices and promotions configured for it, and falls back to your default group where none are set.
- **Minimum, maximum and step quantities**: Each customer group's price entry can carry a minimum order quantity, a maximum and an incremental quantity, so a distributor can buy in steps of whole cases while a retailer orders fewer.
- **Volume offers**: Volume-based promotions give a percentage off for each quantity slab, per customer group, and tiered discounts reward bigger order values. The cart reflects an eligible promotion when its conditions are met.

## Business accounts and credit

Keep the company, its buyers and its buying terms together. Customers reach saved addresses, available credit and previous orders from their account.

- **Company details**: Store the business name, type and GSTIN. Assign its customer group to apply the prices and buying rules you configured.
- **Business documents (KYC)**: Collect the KYC documents your store requires and keep their verification status with the customer record.
- **Multiple buyers**: Several people can buy under one B2B customer account, with the business record shared between them.
- **Saved addresses**: Billing and shipping details stay ready for the next order, including business names and tax information.
- **Approved credit**: Offer eligible customers a configured credit line, with a total credit limit and a credit period in days. Buyers see their limit, what they have used and what is left, and repayment is collected by automatic debit.
- **Order history**: Order details and shipment tracking stay in the account, and Buy it again starts the next restock.

## Order operations and ERP integration

Keep orders, shipments and buyer updates connected. Link your ERP and fulfillment tools through APIs and webhooks, built around the systems and workflow you already use.

- `order.confirmed`: Trigger your ERP integration, and retrieve the order details through the Admin APIs to create a matching sales order.
- `shipment.created`: Prepare separate shipments against the same order, with each shipment's items, fulfillment details and status connected to the original purchase.
- `shipment.shipped`: Show shipment status and tracking links in the buyer account, and use dispatch events to send updates through your messaging integration.
- `order.completed`: After delivery the order stays in the customer's history, where buyers review the details and use Buy it again to begin a fresh order.

Admin APIs and webhooks cover orders, payments, shipments, invoices, inventory and customers.

## FAQ

### Can different business buyers see different prices?

### Can we set minimum order quantities and pack sizes?

Yes. Each customer group's price entry can carry a minimum order quantity, a maximum and an incremental quantity, so a distributor can buy in steps of whole cases while a retailer orders fewer.

### Can we reward larger orders?

Yes. Volume-based promotions give a percentage off for each quantity slab, per customer group, and tiered discounts reward bigger order values. The cart reflects an eligible promotion when its conditions are met.

### Can several people buy for the same business?

Yes. A B2B customer account can contain multiple users. The account holds the business name, type and GSTIN, saved billing and shipping addresses, order history, shipment tracking and Buy it again.

### Can we connect our ERP or CRM?

You can build integrations with the Admin APIs and webhooks for orders, payments, shipments, invoices, inventory and customers. The implementation depends on the systems you use and the data you exchange. Talk to us about your workflow.
